This exhibition brings together some of the U.K.’s most talented and ambitious working-class artists to show new, experimental and never before seen artworks. ‘Pure Class’ is a collaboration between the RCA and the Working-Class Creatives Database.

This is the first collective exposition from the Working Class Creatives Database, held in conjunction with Pineapple Black. Uniting the work is one thread: created by people from a working-class background. This is a statement of our intent. Involving an extensive number of members from the database, the exhibition will bring together many different disciplines to create a showcase for their work.

This year’s North East Open Call is in collaboration with Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art.

Anise Gallery’s Summer Graduate Show 2018 presents new art perspectives explored through graduate work. Embracing its ethos for connecting spatial investigation with art, the gallery aims to push this dialogue further through fine art practices. We are excited to present artists from Central Saint Martins, Slade School of Fine Art, Royal College of Art, Goldsmiths and Cambridge School of Art.
